Planning for Progress

Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

National Junior Honor Society

National Junior Honor Society is an honor conveyed by the school to deserving 8th grade students.

For National Junior Honor Society consideration, a student must have a minimum overall cumulative grade point average of 3.5 (not rounded) as a prerequisite for membership. The grade point average is calculated based on end-of-year final grades for 6th and 7th grades combined.  Eligible students submit a required application and it is reviewed by a faculty council, who considers a student’s academic, leadership and service experiences, as well as behavior, in the selection of new NJHS members.
